The Starrett S3717NG Floor Standing Bandsaw delivers productive, accurate metal cutting performance for both demanding and smaller workshops. Designed to handle solid materials, tubes and profiles with ease, it combines robust construction, efficient operation and versatile cutting capabilities to meet the demands of busy workshops.
Built for reliable use, the S3717NG Floor Standing Bandsaw offers a cutting capacity of up to 170mm for tubes and profiles, and 75mm for solid materials. Moveable bearing blade guides help maintain cutting accuracy, while the ergonomic manual-action lever provides comfortable operation, and the adjustable bow allows precise mitre cuts up to 60° for added versatility.
Powered by a 1.1kW motor, the saw features variable cutting speeds between 38 and 76m/min, allowing you to optimise performance for different materials. The bow can be operated in either manual or gravitational feed modes, with a hydraulic cylinder providing controlled bow advance for smoother cutting, improved accuracy and extended blade life.
A 27mm bandsaw blade delivers excellent cutting performance across a wide range of metalworking applications. The blade tensioning system, complete with tension indicator, makes setup and adjustment straightforward, while the cutting fluid circulation system helps keep the blade cool, improving cut quality and reducing wear. The quick-grip vice secures workpieces firmly in position for accurate and consistent results. Additional features include a 500mm measuring rod for repeatable cuts, a safety speed selector, an emergency stop button and full CE compliance.
